June 10, 2009 Civil3D SIG
The June 2009 meeting of the Southwest Florida Civil3D User Group is Wednesday, June 10th at the Lee County Public Works building in Fort Myers at 1500 Monroe Street. Discussion will be led by Jeffrey Smith, and others to be announced.
Free parking will be by the building, and we will meet in the first floor conference room (1-B) . Snacks and drinks will be provided. We will have a working CAD system projecting AutoCAD Civil 3D 2009 onto the screen, enabling us to see the software and its backup systems demonstrated on a live network.
Bring your best drawing (Thumb drive or CD) you want to share done in any “flavor” of AutoCAD to compete for prizes. This will be done in two stages from 5:30pm until 6:00pm it will be the intro beginner level discussion of Vault in a stand alone installation. Then from 6:00pm until 7:00 pm we will go into the Vault further and how to recover onto another system if needed. After that “personal networking” and the judging of the drawings will go on until 7:30pm. We look forward to seeing you there!
